POCSO and Sexual Harassment

Keeping in mind the safety of the children and staff, Avadh Collegiate has formed a ‘Pocso & Sexual Harassment Committee’ constituting of parent, staff and student representatives as well as members from the management. The School Counsellor is an integral part of this committee.

As a safety measure, all teaching, non-teaching, support and contractual staff of DPS Rohini have been sensitized about POCSO by legal professionals from Uttar Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (UPSLSA) Students from Classes III onwards are periodically sensitized about ‘Good Touch & Bad Touch’. In the middle school, sessions on ‘Gender Parity’ and understanding ‘Puberty’ are conducted to ensure that students grow up as responsible individuals.
